i just received these from amazons company javari. i got the chestnut colour for £45 and i think they are good for the money.i would not have paid a penny more for them tho! i have had emu boots and similar boots from river island and dorothy perkins and have had no problem with fit but these are very snug on my calves which isnt great as i wont be able to wear jeans with them (tucked in) also they are classed as tall and arnt as tall as expected and not as tall as my previous boots.i must admit when i took them out the box they did look a bit cheap :/
but overall for £45 they are ok,the test now is how long they last!

UPDATE:
I returned them!!! after putting them on to go out and getting ready in the house they already hurt my feet! the stitching over the top of foot left a red line on my foot and they sqeezed my calves too they felt cheap on and didnt fit right so i have now returned! as i said iv had cheap boots of same style from high street before and never had problems. i would not recommend these to anyone,would say save yourself some money and get better from high street! if you have the money to spare though then buy emu instead!

These wellies are great, look amazing and have a good shape. I’m a 4.5 so bought the 5, definitely need thick socks with them but they’re great.

The only downside is the finish of the rubber at the heel of the boot, it’s not perfect. No one else would know but I figured if wellies come in a box they should be perfect!

Note the Hunter fleece socks are only made for the standard longer boot – although the person I emailed said they could be “rolled down” to fit in the short boot. Not sure if I’ll try that or not.

Love the boots, however, they look almost burgundy on the internet. When they arrived the boots are very violet.
Now I know the description says violet.
But the boots have none of the red tone that shows on the picture.
Whatever, I am keeping the boots!!!

The calf width of these boots is just about wide enough for the SLIGHTLY wider calf. I found the boot a little too narrow over the arch of the foot. So, if you are only SLIGHTLY wider in the calf or foot then they will fit, but wont take a decent sock.<br/>If, like me, you are somewhat wider than average, dont bother. I was disapointed that I had to return mine as the only other Hunter boot suitable is the Ladies Huntress but only available in full length and those rotten original Hunter colours. They really are still the best quality rubber wellington boot available for the money. The calf width of these boots is just about wide enough for the SLIGHTLY wider calf. I found the boot a little too narrow over the arch of the foot. So, if you are only SLIGHTLY wider in the calf or foot then they will fit, but wont take a decent sock.
If, like me, you are somewhat wider than average, dont bother. I was disapointed that I had to return mine as the only other Hunter boot suitable is the Ladies Huntress but only available in full length and those rotten original Hunter colours. So, please Hunter designers, make the Huntress available in the shorter length, in lovely colours and with the same Huntress calf and foot widths.If you did I would have a pair in each colour, promise!

Thank you. However the item is very poor quality. The sole is made of pure polished plastic. Will cause someone injury in the wet or icy conditions/ shiny surface. There's no give in the sole so after a few days they will split across the centre of the sole. Also it is attached in such a poor way that it will come away. Advised the seller to remove this product before someone gets hurt.<br/>The product detail above does not give a true likeness off the product. The seller has been fantastic with delivery pretty much next day delivery on standard. Thank you. However the item is very poor quality. The sole is made of pure polished plastic. Will cause someone injury in the wet or icy conditions/ shiny surface. There’s no give in the sole so after a few days they will split across the centre of the sole. Also it is attached in such a poor way that it will come away. Advised the seller to remove this product before someone gets hurt.
The product detail above does not give a true likeness off the product. So under distant selling you can return the item in its unused state.

The seller must adjust their product information to reflect the item they sell.

Not only did he not stock anything like them he told me I wanted longer laces. I came straight home - found them on Amazon - and ordered them. When one of my steel capped bootlaces snapped I tried to get this type of lace from my local shoe repairer. Not only did he not stock anything like them he told me I wanted longer laces. I came straight home – found them on Amazon – and ordered them. They are much better laces than those supplied with the boots, and, they are a better length. (previously too long) Comment added Feb 2012. I went to tie up one of my boots today and the lace snapped – previous comments now in doubt!! These boots are not in daily use, more like three monthly use.
