I have had a problem with posteria shin splints very painful whilst training for a half marathon! I changed from my previous pair of asics which were giving me black toes as I hadn’t bought a large enough size but the trainer were fine. I swapped to another pair of cheap trainers and started to develop a pain in my left leg after a 10+ mile run. I didn’t run again for a week then wore my cheaper pair again for another 10+ run and then pain was excruciating ! My ankles were very sore too so after self diagnosising and three weeks off from running and the injury only very slight now I decided to invest in a better pair of trainers. As I said my previous pair of asics were great apart from being too small!!! I selected the asics gt 2170 out of three pairs that I was trying. I went for a few miles to see how my leg would feel and what a difference. These trainers are so light and comfortable but obviously designed to help my over pro too and some how seem to have helped my running style too. Would definitely recommend. Only a slightly stiff left ankle the next day!

Love the Asics GT21XX series. My GT2150 and GT2160′s have been fantastic shoes from first wear and the GT2170 is the same.

The shoes provide great comfort and all the support I need for running many miles on the road. Compared to the GT2160 I the cushioning is better. I did find on my first run my toes felt a little numb but now the shoes have had a few miles the fit is perfect.

I risked a 5k race after running only 8 miles in them and had no issues. It felt like they were fully broken in and perfect for racing.

The White/Tahiti/Neon Yellow looks great. Its very bright so hopefully makes me that little more visable in poor lighting.

Many bags of this size are not weather-proof like this one. It takes several size A4 ring-binders, kept secure by the robust zip, which is itself protected by the complete flap-over cover. I am using mine to carry my 3 music folders to band practice, and it is exactly right as I can also carry my cornet mutes, my music stand and a bottle of water without any strain.

It is a messenger bag (just thought i’d clear that up, the strap does adjust)

It is a very sturdy bag, and does not seen to be tearing at all. I have a lot in it.

I have 2 large A4 folders (the ones with the big ring binder parts) and they just fit in the main section nicely, along with my pencil case and glasses case. But it would not hold another folder in the main section and still be able to zip up.

It offers a decent amount of shower resistance.

The material is very strong, and the clips attached to the handle are tough as well.

I got the grey bag, and it looks really professional with the black outline. Does not seem cheap and fits in with my grey suit.

Would recommend to anyone, the sections inside are also very useful as they all zip up.
